Participation in this yoga class includes, but is not limited to, participation in meditation techniques, yogic breathing techniques, and performing various yoga postures which are designed to exercise every part of the body.
Yoga is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis, or treatment. I affirm that I alone am responsible whether to practice yoga.
By registering for this yoga class, I acknowledge that participation exposes me to a possible risk of personal injury and am fully aware of this risk.
I herby take action for myself as follows: I (a) irrevocably WAIVE, RELEASE AND DISCHARGE FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY for my death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft or actions of any kind which hereafter may occur to me, Adam Jabari Jefferson, who is teaching the yoga classes, Artist Trust individual staff, Board of Trustees, and organization as a whole, who is hosting the yoga class; and (b) INDEMNIFY, HOLD HARMLESS AND AGREE NOT TO SUE the entities or person mentioned in this paragraph as to any and all liabilities or claims made as a result of participation in the yoga classes, whether caused by negligence of releases or otherwise.
I understand that registering for this class acts as a signatory certification that I have read this liability waiver and understand its content.
